Which page size to choose
Fit the image produces a page exactly as large as the photo, with no white border. It is the right choice when the PDF will be read on a screen or uploaded to a portal, because there is no wasted space and nothing is scaled.
A4 or Letter centres each image on a standard sheet, scaled to fit and keeping its proportions. Choose this when the document will be printed, or when whoever receives it expects something that looks like a page rather than a photograph.
Quality and file size
JPGs are embedded as they are, without being re-encoded, so the PDF carries exactly the image quality you started with and nothing is lost. That also means a PDF built from ten phone photographs will be large. If it has to go under an upload limit, shrink the images first with the image compressor, then build the PDF from the smaller files.
Your files stay on your device
No PDF is uploaded here. The file is opened and rewritten inside your own browser, so there is no server holding a copy and nothing to delete afterwards. For contracts, statements and identity documents — the things people most often need to merge or split — that is the whole point.

Can I put several images into one PDF?

Does converting to PDF reduce image quality?
No. JPGs are embedded exactly as they are, with no re-encoding. The images inside the PDF are byte-for-byte the ones you chose.
Why is my PDF so large?
Because the images are. A PDF built from phone photographs inherits their size. Compress the images first if the PDF has to meet an upload limit.
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Not directly — this tool takes JPG and PNG. Set your iPhone camera to 'Most Compatible' so it saves JPGs, or convert the files first.
How do I control which image comes first?
Rename the files with a number at the front. They are sorted by name, and the sort handles numbers properly, so 2 comes before 10.
